I see more and more people posting on various craft forums "How do I do
this-or-that" or "Help! My project's a disaster … what'd I do wrong?" Gee ...
too bad they didn't find my site before they attempted their project! :-)

Well, there is no need to be hesitant about trying any of the concrete garden art projects I've got available on my website. I've tried my utmost to provide THOROUGH, well explained instructions. I've added every VALUABLE tip I could think of for each project I've written.

There are Techniques You Need to Know
Before Starting a Concrete Project

My tips and techniques that I share with you for every project will truly help insure that your garden art object comes out looking like you are a pro. You won't find these mentioned on other "how-to" sites. I teach you all that I've learned, and all that I've researched and collected over the years. These are techniques that have WORKED for me and other dedicated crafters.

So … Where Do You Begin?

Here's what I suggest: Start with this article - click here to read: Safety Guidelines for Working in Concrete: What You Need to Know!!

Concrete Planter Unique Garden Art

This article must be read and fully adhered to. Make no mistake! Concrete can be a very nasty, caustic material to work with IF you don't follow some simple but very important rules. I cannot stress this enough. You have been warned!

Then, I suggest you investigate all the projects I've listed for you at the bottom of this page, and also my projects for Hypertufa. Crafters and artisans working in concrete often use hypertufa for certain applications, and vice versa. Once you are successful in working with one, you will usually be successful in making objects with the other.

Hypertufa Calls For Concrete, Too

You Might Want To Try a 'Tufa Project Before Working With Concrete

I also encourage you go to my "Hypertufa What?" overview page. It also has my growing list of hypertufa projects listed at the bottom. Click here for: Hypertufa Overview

Starting out with a 'tufa recipe is a way many crafters get used to the ins and outs of working with concrete. Since hypertufa isn't a "pure" concrete mixture, there is a little more room for error, if you will.

And as always, should you have any questions or concerns that you wish to share with me, please do not hesitate to contact me. I do respond to all my e-mails.
